What is Brain-a-Thon?

Odisha’s First Ultimate Olympiad Exam

Brain-a-Thon is a state Olympiad competition where students from different schools across the state can participate. It gives budding talents and students an excellent platform to test their skill sets and prepare them for international competitions. Newron – the leading Student Talent Management organization, conducts Brain-a-Thon, which will be the ultimate Olympiad that nurtures aspiring talents and offers them a chance to win great cash prizes, educational scholarships in top educational institutes, and many educational goodies, along with medals & certificates. The exam will be conducted through a written exam and based on topics like Maths, Science, Aptitude, English and General Knowledge. The written test will focus on identifying the top students across each class category and awarding them to celebrate the young genius in them.

Eligibility Criteria & Test Details for Brain-a-Thon?

Be a Science Girl or Boy, Always Ask What and Why.

  • Students from Grade I to Grade X, in any CBSE or ICSE School can register for Brain-a-Thon.
  • Examination Mode: Offline, Objective Test
  • Class Groups:

The following will be the four groups for performance evaluation & top students will be identified from each group.

Class I-II Class III-V Class VI-VIII Class IX-X
  • Subjects/Areas to Be Covered in Brain-a-Thon

For each category, the test paper would consist of a combination of five subject areas-

  • English
  • Arithmetic or Mathematics
  • Science & Technology
  • General Knowledge
  • Mental Aptitude
  • There will be no sample paper available, and the bifurcation of the number of questions from each subject area will not be revealed till the exam day.
  • Test Date: 8th January 2023 (Sunday)
  • Test Duration: 90 mins
  • Test Timing: Will be informed, Post Registration.
  • Centre Location in Odisha: Bhubaneswar (Exact location will be informed, post-registration)

Students have to pay a minimal amount of only INR100/- to register for the Brain-a-Thon Olympiad Exam.
